LIVE STOCK SALES Messrs. Dalgety and. Company, Limited, report having held their weekly salo at Levin on Tuesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. At the commencement of tho sale, rucep -wore rather inclined to drag, 'but brightened up considerably as the salo 'went on, and they quitted most o[ their Gentry under the hammer. Cattle met with.' a, good sale, and competition was very !hrisk, especially for fat cattle. There was no demand for dairy stock.
