LIVE STOCK SALES Messrs. Dalgety and. Company, Limited, report having held their weekly salo at Levin on Tuesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. At the commencement of tho sale, rucep -wore rather inclined to drag, 'but brightened up considerably as the salo 'went on, and they quitted most o[ their Gentry under the hammer. Cattle met with.' a, good sale, and competition was very !hrisk, especially for fat cattle. There was no demand for dairy stock. Quotations:—Small m.s. hoggets, 15s. 7d. to 15s. lid.; small lambs, ils. 7d. to 11s. 9d.; f.m. owes in lamb, to 28s. 3d.; poor store ewes, 165.; vealers, to 283.; fat heifers, £9 10s. to £15 103.; fat cows, to £15 10s.; bulls, l'£6 to £6 Bs. A. .7. Parton, of Carterton, reports an increasing demand for the famous Victor Vat, and a decreasing supply of sheet steel. Thus, output is curtailed. By ordoring noW, however, delivery can bo promised in rotation. Particulars of the Victor Clieoso Vat, with its eloping bottom and middlo drainage, will bo posted to any address. A. J.
