Hall-Thomp-son, who won the C.M.G. when in command of the Philomel in the Persian Gulf and elsewhere, will say something about tho Mesopotaminn campaign. Another of the (speakers will be LieutenantColonel J. G. Hughes, well known as the popular commander of the Canterbury Battalion on tho Peninsula, for which service ho got the C.M.G., having already won the D.S.O. in South Africa. Major F. Waite, who is also to lecture, saw a groat deal of the heaviest fighting on Gallipoli, winning the D.S.O. for gallant service. Some thrilling stories will be told by Major 0. E. Andrews, N.Z.S.C.. who was in command of the last party of New Zealnnders in the evacuation of Gallipoli. Lieutenant E. T. Shand, Royal Flying Corps, will also be present, and his narrativo of the flight over the enemy lines at Salonika, in which he was shot through the hand and the shoulder, should prove most interesting. Seats for "Talks on the War" may now be hooked at The Bristol. Proceeds are to go to the Terrace's Red Cross Day.
