To -provide that tho Oommtesionere may pay tho amount demanded by instalments, or may\ deollno to pay suoh I money; that in the latter case the-'Coun-cil may by summons in Chambers osply to tho Supreme Court for an order directing the Commissioners to pay tile, sum demanded; that if the Court is of opinion that tho Council has proved that the money required ia neoossery to replace or renew plant which hag become worn out or obsolete, or incapable from any other canee of further ' usefulness, tho Court may order the iiayment of the money to tho Council; and that the decision of tho euDremo Court shall be final. 13. To provide that if on the maturity of any debentures the Sinking Fund is meuffloient to pay tho debentures, the Council may call up tho Benewal Fund in Tβepeot of whioh the debentures wore ißenea; that tho Commissioners may pay the amount so demanded or may call for a report on tho financial bearing of the Council's demands, and that the provisions of Sections 10 and 11 of the Bill (being thsso summarised in paragraphs 11 and 12 of this notice), shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to such demands. • H. (3) That tho Council shall, in the month of April in each year, pay Buch appropriations into two separate banking aooounts. to bo termed "Tramway Reserve , Fund Account," 'and "Electric Lighting Roservo Fund Account." .4) That the monoys paid into such accounts nhftll bo applied for such extensions and improvements in the undertaking in connection with which tho fund is established ae tho Council thinlw flt«. (5) That if lit any -time the renewal funds created in respeot of either the Tramway and Power Supply Undertaking, or in reaped of tho ' Eleotrio Light and Powor Supply ■Undertaking, shall be insufficient to meet renewals, the Council may use any port of tho reserve fund established for the undertaking requiring further renewals, for the purposes of auoh renowajs.
