BALLOT CORRECTIONS
The Government Statistician states that since the publication of the Gazette evidence has been produced showing tho undermentioned men who were drawn in tho ninth ballot for active service from District No. 5 are already members of tho Expeditionary Force, and their names should not have been included in tho Gazette:—

Also evidence lias been furnished to show that. Edward Maurice Lodge, drawn in the eighth ballot from District No. 5, from 27 Myrtle Crescent, Wellington, and John Joseph North, drawn in the ninth ballot from District No. 5, from Yale Road, Wellington, had previously volunteered and have been accepted for service. • , i Another man who also previously volunteered was John Edward Hanratty, from Pitt Street, Wadestown.
