Brigadior-General J. V. Campbell, V.C., Master of the Tanat Hunt, and Major Longueville, D.5.0., were at Oswestry presented by the Mayor, on behalf of the inhabitants, with addresses recordins the deeds for which they received their honours during a charge of the Coldstream Guards last September. Messrs. Yarrow have divided into allotments measuring 75ft: by 15ft. 10 acres of unoccupied land near their works on the Clyde, and have placed the land at the disposal of thoir employees for vegetable growing at a oharge of half-a-orown a year.
