THE KING'S NAVEE

ROYAL VISIT TO THE FLEET London, Juno 26. The King visited the Fleet at its northern base. His Majesty arrived amidst one of the most remarkable thunderstorms recorded. He was met on shore by Lieutenant Priiico Albert, and, accompanied by Admiral Beatty, he inspected a succession of the crews of various flagships. The King saw a modern battleship in action, the officers and men wearing masks and gloves against the risk of cordite flashes. Tho visit lasted a week. The members of the entourage are satisfied that the Navy is willing and ready to meet all demands made on it.— Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
