?. LOSS OF THE MONGOLIA Melbourne, Juno 27. News';has been : received that the wellknown P. and 0. steamer Mongolia was sunk in the Indian Ocean, while on her way to Australia. Her passengers were landed at Bombay —Press Assn. . [The Mongolia has visited Auckland on several occasions. She was of' 1)505 tons, and was built in 1903-1 VESSEL STRUCK A MINE. London, June 20. It is announced that the • Mongolia struck a mine and sank off Bombay at noon on June 2,'1. The iniyls were lost.— Renter. MARJNEJUSKS , .. LLOYD'S BATES FOB NEXT TEAB. London, June 26. Lloyd's will underwrite for one hundred "guineas if the ,war is in progress at the end of 1017, demanding eighty guineas, and proportionately downward to thirty guineas to the end of 1918.— Renter.
