ALLIES' AIMS IN GREECE ■ TO ESTABLISH UNITY AND Fit TIEDOM. (Tiec. June 26, C.lO p.m.) London, June 25. Mr. A. J. Balfour (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) slated in the House of Commons that the object of the Allies was to establish unity and freedom in Greece under a form of Government which would make unity and freedom permanent.—ltcutcr. ' M. ZAIMIS RESIGNS. (Kec. Juno 20, 6.20 p.m.) London, June 25. 11. Zaimis, tho Premier, has resigned. Tho new Cabinet will consist of Venizelists and others. Tho Venizclist Provisional Government will leave Salonikafor tho Piraeus, and the gendarmerie from Salonika will occupy Athens in conjunction with tho French troops. Tho city is quiet.—Uuited Service. SITUATION IN RUMANIA I KING FERDINAND VISITS THE FRONT. London, June 25. M. Bourchier, the "Times" correspondent at Jassy (the capital of Rumania), states that King Ferdinand is visiting the front. Ho promised the troops that land reforms affecting five million peasants would be carried out. He had personally given largo Crown lands, and had asked tlie Government to introduce a Bill to give land to all peasants who are fighting. The reforms do not satisfy the bulk of tho nation, which is unsettled by the Russian revolution and by German and Russian Socialist orators. Twenty members of tho Rumanian Parliament have formed a Labour party, and intend to demand the widest laud and electoral, economic, and social reforms. They have already received strong support.—The "Times."
