ORDERS ANNOUNCED. ' " London, June 22. The authorised account of tho new Order of the British Empire says: There will be five classes for men, to be styled Knights of the Grand Cross, Knights Commanders, Commanders, Officers, and Members, with the abbreviations G.8.E., K. 8.8., C.8.E., 0.8.8., and M.B.E. Women will be styled Dames. of the Grand Cross, Dames Commanders, Commanders, Officere, and Members, with the abbreviations G.8.E., D.8.E., C.8.E., 0.8. E., and M.B.E. The first two classes for men will confer a knighthood, and the first two in the women's class will no entitled to use tho prefix Dame. Tho Prince of Wales has been appointed Grand Master of tho Order. The King is also instituting an Order of Companions of Honour.
