The annual report of tlie Kevrtown Club states that fiituen of last year's members resigned, and thirteen new members were elected, the year ending with 104 names on the list, of whom three are life members, and one is a supernumerary. Dr. Barclay returned from active service in Europe after Ohristmas, and Captain 11. W. Martyu-Hoberts, who for a while was in Samoa, now occupies the liosition o£ area otllcer in tho Wairarana. The club again won the Pennant competition, with- twelve wins and one loss (Seatonn), playing in all eighty rinks, winning with fifty-three, losing with fourteen, and tying with three—scoring 1640 points, against 1189. Tho directors consider that tho present Pennant senemo of play Is too nnwieldy in operation, and generally detrimental to tho best interests of bowline in tho centre. Tho club's delegate was its onlv opponent at tho time of its adoption. The. Junior. Stars competition was revived, and save riso to somo vory keen nlay. The usual attentive supervision of tlieso games by the centre was absent this season, considerable confusion arising in consequence.
