LIVE STOCK SALES
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd. re-port-On Tuesday last, at Mangawhata, wo held a clearing sale in conjunction with tho New Zealand' Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., on account of Mr. S. Macaulay. The cows woro in line condition, and competition waa keen throughout the sale. The best prices ranged from £15 to £20, and the 84 head realised the line average of £14 ss. 6d. A few store cows sold up to £10 each. The fifteen twoyear heifers averaged £10 ss. A two-year Jersey bull sold at £7 15s. A nico line of thirteen weaner heifers inado £4, and ten others realised £3 7s. 6d. Tho horses sold as follow:—Bay brood mare, £26; 7-year gelding, £37 10s.; harness horse, £2J; fouryear gelding,. £19; three-year filly, £17-three-year gelding, £16 55.; two-year filiy|
