THE DOMINION'S MAN-POWER. Ottawa, June 19. On the second reading of tho Conscription Bill, Sir Robert Borden announced that a million and a half men would be available for military service, of which number 760,000 were single men. Between the ages of twenty and thirtyfour tho men available were 000,000. No new principle was involved. The Canadian Militia Act covered the precise ground except that it involved balloting.
