Soldiers' Hostel in Wellington, situated conveniently to the whtirves and railway stations, where tho crippled soldier without friends may find eomfoj'tahle aecomnrodsiUon. The Art Union, now launched to raise funds for that purpose, as will be seen by referonce to the advertisement appearing in this ■ ifcsue, is a particularly attractive spec, viz.. £1000 for 6d.. The way' to look nt the proposition is this: Sixpence donated to the Crippled Soldiers' llostcl may return to you a motor-car, tho nucleus of a sheep station, a sealskin coat, or a diamond ring. If not the lot, then the satisfaction that your money went to buy a much-needed nonie for our war-worn, warriors, including perhaps some of the very lads who were maimed in the horoio capture of, JlessinnK. and who have yet to return to us. Who would refuse to help such gallant men?
