LIEUTENANT GERALD FELL. •■ . . News . was received . yesterday of the ■ death at the front of Lieutenant Gerald Fell,.of.the. Seventh Reinforcements. The late Lieutenant Pell was the son of the late, Mr. A. G. Fell, of Hobson Street, who died only a few"'weeks ago, and much sympathy' will be felt for the family. Lieutenant Fell, who was born in Blenheim, was educated at the Nelson College, and subsequently continued his study of law at , Victoria "University, where he took his LL.B. degree. After leaving the university he entered the legal office df Messrs. Bell, Gully, Bell, and Myers, and remained there up till a few years ago, when "he entered into business in his own law office. He was regarded as a. promising lawyer by those acquainted with his painstaking work. He enlisted as a K.C.O. early in-1915, and, remained a sergeant, until the day of his departure, when he received his commission; Prior to . leaving he had arranged a. partnership of convenience with Mr. P. Lieutenant Fell was a member of the Star Boating Club, and was well-known on the local golf links. He was unmarried. .
