To encourage food production and gardening we offer ten guineas in prizes for the best small vegetablo gardens for the coming season. This competition is to encourage small gardoners, and therefore only those who do not employ a gardener may compete. The sizo of garden is no object: even if it be only the size of an ordinary backyard it will have as good a chance as a larger one. The quality of contents and neatness shall be deemed tho chief merits. We are making up special collections seeds for the season's gardening; for small gardens 3s.
