Id.; fat ewes, to 335. 6d.; shorn lambs, 15s. 6d.; lj-year steers, £5 15s. to £7 '155.; mixed Tveanere, 245. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Go.. Ltd., report:— Wo held our weekly 6alc at Fahiatua on Tuesday when ivo had a very fair entry of sheep and a small ono of cattle. The salo vras rather dragging, but -with the exception of ono pen of flheep "wo made a total clearance as follows :-Two-tooth ewes, 245. Id. to 28s. M.; aged eweß. 165.; 2-tooth wethers, 275.; shorn wether lambs. 16s. Bd.: small lambs, 12s. 4d.; m.s. Tvcancrs, £2 to £2 4s. '■ Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Kanaiai, on May 29, wo had a good muster*- of stock of mostly "useful duality. Practically all 'the cattle and tho bulk of the sheep changed hands, prices as follow being realised:—Fat and forward aged ewes, 28s. 4d.; aged forward ewes. 20s. 6d.: 2-tooth to f.m. ewes .in lamb, 305.; small fat -woolly hoggets, 20e.; small store hoggets, 10s. 7d. to 135.; light fat cows, £11 to £11 155.; fat heifers, £9 10s. to £9 155.; good forward cows, £9 10s. to £10 10s.; good storo cows, £6 13s. 6d. to £7 Is.: small ditto. £5 7s. 6d. to £5 29. 6d.; aged ditto, £4 10s. to £4 135.; dairy cows, £9 10s. to £12: 2,V-ycar steers, (bad colours). £9; small mother-fed miied -wcaners, £4 Es. 6d.; -wcancr heifers. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report on their monthly sale, held in their Weber yards, on Monday, a3 follower—Wo submitted tho excellent yarding of 600 sheep and 376 head of cattle to a large attendance of buyers.
