SAWMILL WORKER'S CLAIM FOR , DAMAGES. In Uio Supremo Court yesterday, His Honour Mr. Justice Ho9king and a jury of twelve resumed the hearing of an action for damages brought by William Bowlcy (sawmill worker, of Hihitahi, near Taihape) against W. Booth and Co., lid. (sawmill proprietors, Wellington). The claim' was for ,£IOOO damages, and arose out of an accident that happened to plaintiff while h<l was driving a, load of sleepers along tho defendant; company's tramway. Mr. P. J. O'Rcgan appeared for plaintiff, and Mr. T. S, Neavc and Mr. WaTd for tho defendant company. The case was adjourned till to-day, when it is e.tpected to he, completed.
