ITALIANS CAPTURE 25,000 •A. RUSSIAN MOVE? ENEMY FEARS DESCENT UPON" GALICIA . Further progress by the Italians is reported to-day. Captured positions have been strengthened and fresh points seized. The enemy is preparing to fall back nearer Trieste, with the possibility of an.evacuation looming in plain slight. ' Altogether tfie Austriaus have sustained casualties totalling 80,000; the Italians have accounted for 25,000 of these in prisoners aloue! The enemy is now concerned about his northern frontier, as {hero are signs of a Kus'sian offensive in Galicia and the Carpathians. Meanwhile the Hungarian political deadlock is still unrelieved. Count Andrassy has been summoned to form a Cabinet. The lull on. the Western- front continues. America's "First Hundred Thousand" for i'vanco is officially'announced. There tire no developments on the other fronts. The sound of heavy guns at sea has been hoard all through the night off the coast of J utland. "What tGTs portends is not stated. The Hun pirates have <lecl ared war on the Irish fishing fleet, and havo already accounted for a n umber of boats. It is stated that their intention is to destroy the who lo fleet, and shell tfte Irish coast districts.
