CHURCH ANNIVERSARY

The services in connection with the anniversary of tho Trinity Methodist Chui'ch, Wellington South, were brought to .1 conclusion on Tuesday evening, wJion a Inrgo audience attended. A departure was nmdo from the usual anniversary tea meeting, the services takinß the form of a sacred concert. A most enjoyable programme of vocal and instrumental items was rendered, and the liißh tono of tho selections was much appreciated, encores to ovory item bcini,' insisted on. Tho solos given by Misses B. Godior and Heath, and Mr. L. Barnes, and tho instrumental selections rendered by Jfisscs L. ITomus (Velio) and Misrncki (violin), and Messrs. A. Syencs (violin) and M. Dixon (organ and piano), -wern thoroughly enjoyed. Reports, were given by the trust secretary and treasurer showing the work of tho church, both reports indicating a decided improvement; from last year. Rev. E. Drake (acted as chairman of the meeting.
