LEI TEES TO THE EDITOR
PIGS AND CITY REFUSE
Sir, —I saw 'in The Dominion that-, somG of Rowlands and i'aparangi residents aro objecting to others keeping pigs, and I think it, is about time. Do any of you Wellington people over seo the stuff that is carted througli Ngahauranga up to these same pigs r" Just picture the refuse of Chinamen's backyards and the scrapings of everyone's plates out of hotels and hoarding--' houses, the leavings of diseased and ail other persons, and you will realise tho> filth that is allowed to be given t<*' pigs which aro sold for human consumption. Is there no health inspector? If there is. why does he allow - , the germs to bo spread about in this, wav? —I am, etc., NOT A PORK LOVER.
