NEW TIME-TABLE
BEGINNING ON SUNDAY
The new railway time-table will be brought into operation on and after Sunday, May 13. The principal alterations in the Wellington district are as follows:— Manawatu Line. There ivill be only one express each way between Wellington and Auckland. The up train will leave Wellington at, 1.0 p.m., ten minutes earlier than at present. The down train will leave Auckland at 8.46 p.m. The up and down New Plymouth and Napier mail trains will be maintained. Other trains will run as follows:— For Palmerston North.—AVollington dep. 9.25 a.m. and 4.10 p.m. For Paekakariki.—Wellington dep. 9.25 a.m., 12.20 p.m. (Saturday only), 1.20 p.m., 4.10 p.m., 5.25 p.m. (not Saturday), 6.24 p.m, aud 11.25 (Saturday only) p.m. For Johnsonville.—Wellington dep. 9.25 a.m., 12.20 p.m. (Saturday only), 4.10, 5.10 (not Saturday), 5.25, 6.24, 9.45 (Saturday ofljy), <ind 11.25 p.m. (Saturday only). For Wellington.—Palmerston North' dep. 7.18 a.m., 12.55 p.m., and 5.10 p.m., Paekakariki dep. 5.50, 7.0, 10.39 a.m., 5.15 (Saturday only), 6.B'and 8.55 p.m., Johnsonville dop. 7.16,-3.20, 10.5, 11.51 a.m., 1.56, 4.45. 5.59, 6.23 (Saturday only), 7.0 (Saturday only), 7.41, 10.15, aud 10.30 (Saturday only) p.m. Wairarapa Line. The present mail trains between Wellington and Woodville (Wellington dep. 7.50 a.m., and Woodville dep. 12.56 p.m.) will be maintained. The early train from. Masterton to Woodville will leave Maeterton at 6.20 a.m., as at present, but the return train will leave Woodville at 2.25 p.m., instead of at 7.0 p.m. , Alterations are made to the Feather-ston-Woodville service. The train which now leaves Featherston for Woodville at 8.27 a.m. (Masterton 9.50 a.m.) will leave Featherston at 7.0 a.m.j and run to Masterton only, connecting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with a train leaving Master-, ton on those days at 8.55 a*m. for Woodville. The early train from Palmerston North and Woodville through the Wairarapa will ran from Woodville to Masterton on only three days a week— " Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, leaving AVoodville at 6.5 a.m., and arriving Masterton 9.25 a.m. A train will leave Masterton for Wellington daily at 9.4Q a.m. The present 10.0 a.m: Wellington-Woodville train will leave Wellington at 8.30 a.m., Featherston 12.55 p.m., Masterton 3.0 p.m., and arrive Woodville at 6.22 p.m. The morning train from Masterton to Wellington will run as at present, but the return train will leave Wellington at 2,55 p.m., instead of 4.25 p.m. A tram will leave Groytown at 7.55 a.m., connecting at Woodside with the morning train from' Masterton to Wellington, and a connection will be made at AVooAside with the afternoon train from Wellington to Masterton. The up and down Wellington-Wood-ville mail trains will .stop if required at Matarawa to allow passengers for Greytown to alight at that station.
Hutt Services. Considerable ourtailment will be made in the Wellington-Lower HuttUpper Hutt suburban services. The following is a brief outline of the suburban services:— For Lower Hutt.—Wellington dep 7.8, 7.30, 8.30, 9.55 a.m., 1.20, 4.35 (not Saturday), 5.5 (not Saturday) 5.12, S-.27.0i0t Saturday), 6.M p.m.! with additional trains on Saturdays at 12.6, 12.15, 1.12, 9.30, and 11.30 p m For Tipper Hutt.—Wellington dep 7.8, 8.80, 9.55 a.m., 1.20, 5.12 (not Saturday), 6.14 p.m., with additional trains at 12.15 and 11.30 p.m. on Saturdays. For Wellington.—Upper Hutt dep R. 27, 7.50 10.46,11.30 a.m., 2.55, 4.40 and 6.25 p.m. (Saturday only). Lower Hutt dep. 7.5, 7.21, 817 8.36, 11.21 a.m., 12.7 (Saturday only), 12.17, 1.30 (not Saturday), 1 45 (Saturday only), 5.47, 5.9 (not Saturday),. 5.23, 5.58 (Saturday only), 6.45 7.6 (Saturday only), and 10.10 (Saturday .only) p.m. A train to convey visitors to Tronthani Camp will leave Wellington at 12.30 p.m. on Saturdays, the return train leaving Trentham at 5.30 p.m. No trains will bo run on Sundays.
