The death is announced at East Closo, Hinton Admiral, Hants, of Colonel Arthur Maurico Blake, C.8., of Danesbury, Welwyn, Herts, in his 65th year. In 1870 ho obtained a commission in the Grenadier Guards, retiring in 1877 with the rank of captain. From 1880 to 1893 ho. commanded the 4th Beds, receiving the V.D. for his services. He was a Deputy-Lieutenant for Hertfordshire.
