SOME RECOMMENDATIONS. At the last meeting of stewards of tho Masterton A. and P. Association, the following recomhendations wero made to the Schedule Revision Committee ' Judging Competitions.—That all judging competitions take placo on the second day of the show; that a class be established for judging purebred Shorthorn and Hereford cattle, on the same lines as the draught horse class. Freezing Classes.—That the Down cross lamb classes be altered to read Down-Longwool cross; that tho second judging ot freezing sheep and lambs be undertaken at the Waingawa works, instead of forwarding them to London; that a_ weight limit be,-decided upon in .sheep''and lamb classes; that separate classes be provided for shorn and woolly lambs. u Fat Sheep.—The class of four wethers and ewes to be confined to sheep under 33 months. Fat Cattle.—That special cash prizes bo awarded to animals 3} years'old and under; that oxhibits in pens of two he not over 8001b. • Horses.—That a class be added for light harness mares, with foal at foot; that all horses and ponies be measured ,at the gate, certificates t issiic.d and shown ou demand; that a condition he added that no ladies be allowed to ride in.tlio cob class, list., 13st-., and lost, hacks. Horticulture. —That no exhibitor be ' allowed to make more than one entry in ciich or any class. Show Ring Competitions.—That only .one judge act in the jumping competitions that the shoep dog trials be not,held in tho show ring'on the first day, but in an adjacent pa<m(iCK; that on the second day the prize-'takers up to the fifth prize give an exhibition in the show ring.
