APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED. Capt. G. B. Banks, N.Z.S.C., has been granted the temporary rank 06 major while employed as camp quartermaster, i'eatherston, with effect from April 4, 1917. _ Capt. J. A. Wallingford, M.C., N.Z.E.F., has heen struck off tha strength and absorbed into the establishment of the N.Z. Staff Corps. Ha lias heen attached to the General Staff for musketry duties at headquarters, and been granted the temporary rank of major whilst so employed (dated April 30, 1917). ■ . , ' Capt. J. C. Hill, N.Z.E.F., has heen, appointed assistant, provost marshal to the Forces under the Department ofl the 'Adjutant-General, with, headquarters at Wellington (dated April: 11, 1917). Wellington (Garrison Artillery) Division. The undermentioned second lieutenants (temporary) have been promoted, lieutenants (temporary) as from March! 28, 1917:—Robert Y. Walls, Miles C. W. Mason, Richard H. Naglo. sth (Wellington) Regiment. Second Lieut, (temp.) F. H. Shnrland has been transferred to tho 12tH (Nelson) Regiment. •
