AValkor for a term of 21 years, from May 1 next, with perpetual rights of rejiewal. Rent for first term to be £& p'er acre. \ Mr. Walker's offer to dear the 'section , of weeds for tho sum of *620 to bo accepted. It was .resolved that on the expiry of the present lease of Section 1, Block I, Otthango (1 rood, Crown lands), a lease for five years will be issued to tho lessee, at a rental of .£3 per annum. . J. A. Chesham wrote asking that payment of rent for the broken'period from August 8, 1915 to December 31, 1915 (£47 2s. 7d.) on his son's Section 9, Block IV, Momahaki, be allowed to stand over whilst 'the latter is on active service.— Approved. Thomas Kennedy applied for an area of about 36} acres of Crown land to the south of his freehold Section 3, Block XIII, - Haiirangi S.D .—lt was resolved that he be allowed to purchase it as aecond-class land, under Section 131 of 'The Land Act, 1908, at the price of .£35. A letter was received from Hr. Gould on hehalf of Mr. JfCready asking- for permission to dispose of the buildings on Seotion 2, Block IV, Kangataua Township.—lt was resolved in the circumstances to grant the required permission, subject to Mr. M'Cready paying to .the Crown the amount of arrears of rent and cost of Te-ofteriiig, amounting to £6 lGs. . - ■ ' .. Victor Shore, occupier of Section 17, Block XII, Kaitieke S.D., applied for adjoinng Section li; Block XII, Kaitieke S.D., 192 acres.—lt was resolved ;to recommend that he be allowed to seleot it under Section 14 of The Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912, at a price to be filed by the ranger. A'request was received from the Secretary of Agriculture that steps be taken to lease Section 1, Block 11, Karioi S.D., 374 acres, temporarily from year to year. —It was resolved to grant Mr. AV.' Stephens a lease under Section 130 of the Lnnd Act; at a rental of .£BO a year.
