It was deeided at a meeting of the Waterside Workers' Union last evening that' a deputation wait on the Minister of Railways protesting against •thev absolute curtailment of'all the train services in the week .evenings. I It was pointed, out that some 300 of the waterside workers, .lived either m the Hutt Valley or-up the Manawatu line, and it will mean that all. these men, with the exception of-.a very smallnumber who possess motor : cycles, will have to finish work sharp on 5 p.m. to enable them to catch their trains. This, it is pointed out, will not" have a beneficial effect on the loading and unloading of vessels,' as oven now'when the full number can work there is often a shortage of labour on the.wharves, and with another couple of hundred workers taken away this will mean much delay, as other workers will not accept work-in place of other men for a few hours in the evening. • You may pay a higher price, but yon nannot buy a richer, more handsome, more luxurious car than the Hudson Super Six. Price alone. is powerless to improve on its near perfection. The velvety flexibility of the Hudson, contented motor, the spacious seating accommodation, the deep leather upholstery, and its beautiful finish, make it a car to be proud of. May we demonstrate this car to vou? : .THE DOMINION MOTOR LTD., 65 COURTBNAY PLACE. WBLLINGTON.-Advt.
