OVERSEA SOLDIERS' WIVES IN BRITAIN THE AUSTRALIAN SEPARATION ALLOWANCE. ' London, April 11. Attention having been called to the hardships of Australian soldiers' wives resident in Great Britain who do not reoeivo the Commonwealth separation allowance, Mr. Andrew Fisher (High Commissioner) is discussing the matter with Mr. Wade (Agent-General for New South Wales). They spent the Easter visiting the New South Wales troops at Salisbury Plain. Notwithstanding the severity of the winter, they found that the general health of the troops was undoubtedly good.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
