MEETING IN THE WAIRABAPA. Br. I'elesrapli—SpcciaA Correspondent. Masterton, April 9. The Hon. TV. D. S. Mac Donald addressed a meeting of farmers -at Masterton to-night on "the question of wheat-growing. He emphasised the necessity for the people' doing their best to stimulate production, and stated tliat there was likely to be a l.OOOjOCKT'bntfliels shortage of wheat in the coming season. He had no guarantee that wheat -would be _ obtainable from • Australia. The meeting set up a oommitte# of wheat-growing experts to givo advice in regard to the cultivation of wheat in the district.
