■ Tho Wellington Industrial Association met last evening. Sir. I' , . .1. Evans presided. Messrs. Carter and Guiso, brassfounders, York Street, were elected members of tho association. Much of tho time of tlio meeting was occupied by the secretary in reporting on tho recent conference held in Auckland. The president said that tho conference had received well a paper by Mr. T. Bellinger, of Wellington, on the subject'of apprentices and technical education. THe president suggested that the. association should have'tho paper printed, and this was agreed fb. "The president, Messrs. Bnllinpcr, Bui, Ward, M'Ley, and Watkins wcro appointed a committee to prepare a report on the resolutions passed at tho conference.
