Abraham and Williams', Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North, on March 5. wc had a moderate yarding of stock, the bulk of which chanced hands at the following rates:—Round-mouth ewes, 275.; f.ra. owes, 225. to 245. 81; aged, ewes, 17s. Bd. ■to 215.; cull ewes, 15s. to 165.; store lambs. 16s. 7tl. to 18s.; cull lambs, 10s. 6d. to 14s. Bd.; f.m. Roinncy and Southdown rams. At Feildinit, on March 9. wo had a fairly full yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep were slightly easier, but wo managed to quit most of the lines offered. Prices for cattle showed an improvement, and practically all yarded found buyers.
