A stiff southerly wind blow steadily for the- best part of tlio day, and kept peoplo on tho movo with the sharpness of its touch. iSfcatftcred showers, liavo v/isited the East Coast, whilo thunderstorms, havo been tho.lot of tho far north districts. Present indications, states the official forecast, arc for moderate, to strong south-easterly; winds, backing to the north, with a. general fall in tho barometer shortly. A change is expected about tho middle of tho week.
