CAMP NOTES
The following temporary appoint* ments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—' Oorpl. F. Waltham, Headquarters Q.M. Stores, to be sergeant; Corpl. D. S. A* Weir 28th M.R., to be sergeant-major; Corpl. R. G. Herd, 28th M.R., to bo quartermaster-sergeant; Shoeing-smith! J. H. Brooking, 27th N.Z.F.A., to.be sho'eing-smith corporal; Shoeing-smith! H. A. Giles, 25th N.Z.F.A., to ba 6hoeing-smith corporal; Shoeing-smith' j: P. Hayward, 26th M.R., to be shoe-ing-smith corporal. ; - _ The following men of the 23rq Specialist Company, Signal Section* having passed the prescribed tests* have been classified as trained signallers, and aro entitled to wear tha efficiency badge:—Corpl. H. C. Sncll,Ptos. G. W. Dixon, L. R. Jones, J. W* Shepherd. A dance in honour of tho 23rd Reinforcements is to be hold at the Sydney, Street Soldiera' Club on Saturday next<
