MEETING OF N.Z. ASSOCIATION. At the quarterly meeting of the Notf Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, held on Wednesday night, there were present: Messrs. George Gore (Canterbury), S. S. Grady (Hawke's Bay), J. Collins and P. Thomson (Marlborough), H. C. Murray (Otago), M. E. Itenniston (Taranalti), W. Melody (WnngaftsUt B. A. Howte and D. M. Kean (Wellington). In the absence in Christchurch of the president (Mr. H. M. Gore), Mr. M. E. Denniston wns voted to the chair. Mr. Denniston. requested a discontinuance of the terra "school children's championship," and nsked thp.t for the future theh term "secondary and primary schools championship" ho used. Ho wished the question of primary schools championships to ho pushed forward. The chairman stated hip intention of asking the Management Committee to hold a special meeting, winch Mt. Keesing and Mr. Melody wouH be asked to attend.

The quarterly renort was adopted.

Regarding the distribution nf the Australasian Association';! funds, the report of the Management Committee was received, and members resolved that the New Zealand delegates to the Australasian Association be instructed to support the motion of the New South Wales Association appearing in the order-rcaper of the Australasian Association Council meeting, called for March 23 at Sydney.

The mectinir also decided that consideration of tho adoption of a, ball for the 1917 New Zealand championship meeting bo part of the business set out in the order paper sent out with the notices calling tho May, IAI7, council meeting.

The report of the Management Committee on the subscriptions for 1916-17 was submitted. Mr. Denniston moved that subscriptions payable by the affiliated associations for 1916-17 be 9.A. per capita for the first 1000. nnd Id. par carrita for members over 7000, !?ss reoate of 50 per cent., and that subscriptions for 1915-16 outstanding aro due and payable.
