RIFLR SHOOTING
KAEORI CLUB. The Karori Rifle Club fired a match against the Petone Eiflo Club on their range at Waiwetu on Saturday afternoon last, which resulted in a win for the Petone Club for both A and ii teams. The Petono A. team won by b points, and Petone B team won by 50 points. Shooting was provided.for^those members who did not fire in the teams matches. SUBURBS CLUB. The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club completed their third series and championship on Saturday at their range, "Broadway," Miramar. The championship of the club was won by H. R. Hunt, with 884, on aggregate for 10 shoots over all ranges. The winner was congratulted by the members of the club on his consistent shooting and popular win. The run-ner-up this year was J, Smart. The weather on Saturday was not tie best for shooting, a heavy foi hovering over the r&nge and this, with ia tricky wind at times, gave the competitors a lively time. The best score for tho day was made by G. B. Williamson, who notched on 43 at 700 yards, and 48 at 800 yards. Next Saturday the club commence their fourth series at ranges of 300 and 600 yards.
