NO CARGO Bl" VICTORIA. Tho Hudd&rt-Parker Company advise that the Victoria, which arrives from Duncdin and Lyttelton to-day, will receive no cargo for northern ports nor for Sydney. This is the outcome of tho labour trouble at Napier ad Gisborno when the vessel visited these ports on her way down. Cargo for both ports -was overcarried, and as thia is beins token back there is no room for any Wellington cargo.

She now leaves here at noon on Friday for Nelson and Torakoho.

Aitokland, like Wellington, has benn busy on the waterfront, with a resultant shortage of labour. On the arrival of the Monowai at nooa on Monday the Eangs were transferred from, the Te Anau to the Monowai in order to set the vessel away on time-table. ThA Monowai left Auckland ou Tuesday night for 'Wellington, via Gieborne and Napier, and is due here on Friday. She leaves the Eamo day for southern ports.

Tho Blenheim is due to-day from Havelock and Pelorus Sound, fiho will commence overhaul on completion of discharge, and this will probably occupy a week or more.

Messn. Cathie, Dempster and- Co. advise that the Taihui will arrive this morning from Wanganui, nnd will leave again for Wanganui to-day. Also, that they expect tho Eunice to make a call here early next week, probably on Tuesday or Wednesday, on her way from Lyttelton to Wangamii.

The John is now expected here on Friday from southern ports, and will probably not leave again until' Saturday for Vanganui. t The Calm is duo from.southern norls to-day, and prodeeds on to Vanganui this afternoon.

The flimitangi left the Chatham Islands at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for Lyttelton. After finishing at Lyttelton she oomos on to WclSnEton, and leaves here for the Chatham-Islands direct on Monday.

The Karu arrived with a full cargo of timber Iroin Westport yesterday. Sue is to go on to New Plymouth and then to Greymouth, probably leafing herein Friday night or Saturday morning. The Kaituna was to hayo left Westport last night with a- load.of coal for Wellington. There is every probability that tho yacht Mabel, which arrived ill port from Auck'and on Tuesday night, will leave for 'Motueka to-day.

The auxiliary scow Jtagic, which, arrived from Handy Bay on Tuesday, is to leave on Saturday afternoon with a cargo o£ case oil for New Plymouth.'From Now Plymouth • she goes to Puponga, and thence to' Sandy Bay again, where she loads marble for Wellington.

Tiio Karamu is duo at Oreymouth today to load toad for Onehunga. The barque Manurewa. has been flied to load timber at Kaipara for Sydney. The borquentine Linqjtol, now at Sydney, is expected to leave thai, port , this week for Newcastle to load a cargo of coiil for Tauranga. As expected, the two Government steamers Amokura. and v Hineinoa left Wellington yesterday. Ths Amokura, goes south! and then on N to the southern outljing islands in search of castaways and to inspect the various depots, while the Hinemoa goes north on her- periodical trip round the lighthouses and , harbours.
