AUSTRALIAN ARMY RESERVE
TERRITORIAL FORCE SCHEME. Melbourne, February; 15. The scheme for the of an Australian Army Reserve provides for the formation of territorial associations in each Federal electorate, the 1 Northern Territory, and Papua. In submitting the regulations to Parliament, the Assistant Minister for Defence stated that it was reasonable to assume that the scheme, within; twelve months of tho termination of the war, would provide Australia with a force of between fifty thousand and two hundred thousand trained men. — Press Association.
