DJSNNISTON HEX GOING SLOW. 13y Telegraph—Press Association. Westporl, February 13. Owing to the alleged'refusal' of the coal owners' to meet tho Miners' Federation in conference, it is "understood that the miners at Denniston have determined to restrict the output of coal from that mine, and are limiting their earnings to-twelve shillings per day. From inquiries made it is learned that tho Wcstport Coal Company has not bean approached for a conference by either tl'o Miners' Federation or the district unions. Also, the AVostport Coal Company is not a member of the Coal Owners' Association. It is said that the Granity Miners' Union at a meeting on Monday night decided by a large majority not to restrict, the output at the Millerton mine.
