WAR HONOURS FOR INDIAN TROOPS
A BKILLIANT CEREMONIAL. Delhi, January 30. 'At a special parade before a brilliant assemblage, Lori Chelmsford (Viceroy) presented medale and orders won in the war te two hundred Indian officers and soldiers. The decorations included l three Victoria Crosses—Cha-t----tasine, 9th Bhopals; Nail Lara, 4.lst Dogmas; and. Kul Tiri Thapa, 3rd Ghurkas. There were also several French' and Russian decorations. Many additional large presents to the war arfd other funds by native princes and others were announced. At the end of December the Central Relief Fund totalled! 108 lakhs of rupees.— Router.
