'According to one' message,seven German destroyers were sunk, But detailed reports account as .■vet for only, two, one of them sunk and! the other driven, badly damaged, into the Dutch port of Ymuiden. One British destroyer was lost. In a late message it is stated that the "Daily Telegraph's" Rotterdam 1 correspondent is certain that seven German ships were sunk. There is not much news of events on land. It is suggested in one message that the enemy is preparing for an offensive against Italy, hut other reports indicate that the suggestion is not taken very seriously.
