AN OPPORTUNITY. . The fact that the "Star" Commercial Chassis just landed in Wellington are built in nccordanco with War Office specifications lias aroused a great leal of interest. When war broke put the authorities realised how necessary motor traction was, but pre-war design did not reach expectations. The 'experience of the Allies witli motor vehicles was carefully recorded, and to-day the machines iii use are designed accordingly. No Britmanufacturer is allowed to build vehiclos except in accordance with War Office specifications, as the Military Authorities reserve tho right to commandeer the chassis even when lying at the London Docks ready for export. When further supplies will bo available nobody can say, but all the evidence indicates the fact that during the next few months the Army will want all the motors that are obtainable.
