The directors of the British lied Cross Society and tho Order of St. John pay a tribute to the efforts of tho Australian and New Zealand newspapers in giving publicity to the cause. —Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. [Tho "Our Day" effort throughout the Empire for the funds of tho British Red Cross and the Order of St. John was inaugurated, with a Flag Day in London on October 19. Ladies, nurses, and wounded soldiers sold flag emblems of Great Britain and of the overseas Dominions, and souvenirs made from the Zeppelin brought down at Cuffley. Subsequently "Our Day" was held with, a. similar object in all tho British Dominions.!
