SERIOUS RIOT IN AUSTRIA Berne, January 14. There has been sorious rioting at Gratz, the capital of Styria, in Austria. Hugo crowds in the streets demanded increased rations, and shouted, "Wo want peace I" Tho troops wero called out, but refused to- attack tho populace, and returned to barracks. The newspapers "Pesti Hirkp" and "Budapesti Hirlap," published in Budapest, state- that the Emperor is dividing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,_ so that ho may personally direct Austria's foreign policy undor cover of the name of .his friend and intimate advisor, Prince Hohenloho.—Aus.-N.Z.
