1 FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for westerly to southerly winds, strong to gale, and squally, changeable weather, with heavy showers cenerdlly. The barometer is due to rise everywhere soon. A westerly storm area pacing in the south has been responsible for unsettled end squally conditions generally since Sunday, rain failing yesterday and • this morning in may the country.
