SOME RELIGIOUS OBJECTORS. Palmerston North, January 12. The Military Service Board commenced its sittings this morning. The appeals of Edward Charles White, far; nier, of .Linton, Garry Edward DentonJ farmer, of Ohau, Nathaniel JBuniet Jones, butter-boy maker, of Feilding, and Henry William Stacey, caterer, of Feilding, wero dismissed. William Alfred Turner, butcher, of Waituna West, appealed on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship. Some months ago he enlisted and was rejeoted! as unfit,; and since then he had taken on obligations which ho could not lightly cast aside. His removal would bo a great inconvenionco to the people of the district. The ease was held over for consideration. The appeals of Alfred Norman Palmer, farmer, of llaumai, on the grounds of public interest, undue hardship, and' reliciotts objections, and of Roy Gordon ForTong, farmer, of Bunnythorpe, on religious objections alone, were dismissed. Both appellants were members of the Brethren.'
