TURBULENT SCENES AT A PEACE MEETING
(Rec. January 10, 7.15 p.m.) London, January 9. There wore turbulent scenes at tho Union Democratio Control's peace meeting at Walthamstow. Mr. Ramsay Macdpnald and Mrs. Snowden wore tho principal speakers, and were much heckled. Soldiera and civilians swept tho platform. Ramsay Macdonald and the chairman were thrown of the hall, and a pro-war demonstration was held.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
