Masterton, January 9. 'At to-day's sitting of the Military 'Appeal Board tho appeal of L. Rose, 'farmer, of Mangatainoka, was allowed. O J Swan, shepherd, appealed on the Rround of public.interest. Tho appeal was dismissed,'.leave being given t.ll March 5.' Edward Sidney Turner, farmer, was piven leave till March 31. "C. V. Stretch, farmer, was granted exemption till January 31. Archie "Wyeth," ploughman, did no., appear, and his appeal was dismissed. The appeal of Edward Falconer, farmer, was adjourned sino die. E. : G.i D.; Harrison, farmer, was exemption till March 5.
