MASTERTON TOURNEY WON BY HUTT. By Telegraph—Special Correspondent. Masterton, January 3. Tho bowling tournament in connection with tho Wairarapa Centre was concluded at Masterton to-day, and was won by Hendry's Lower Hutt team. WELLINGTON CLUB TOURNAMENTS. During the holidays two interesting tournaments were played on the Wellington Green. The two winning teams wero: H. G. Smith, R. Roberts, Leighton, G. Brown (s.), and Houlder, O'Donnoll, Potter, E. J. Hill (s.), who won the variety and progressive rinks respectively. Diamond Buckles. The holders, Grenfell and W. J. Thompson, of tho Wellington Club, were challenged by J. Muir arid G. Magnus, of tho same club, and the challengers won by 22 to 20 points. The Friendly Bowl. Four rinks from Christchureh. will como on Saturday to tho Wellington Green to play this annual fixture. The following have been'selected to play for Petono at Upper Hutt on Saturday:—Naughton, R. Hutchinson, Mudgo, T. M'Arthur (s.). Tho following Petono Juniors have boon selected to play at Khandallah :— Sykes, Hope, Milne, Hall.
