One of the most interesting and in- , struciire competitions held at the show :ie, the sheep-doe trials. The almost huftnon intelligence of tho dogs, and the (■remarkable control over the dogs by LWieir masters, is marvellous. It is well a visit to' the show to see this 'competition alone. The trials are held on the first day (October 25), but this jear, should time permit, an exhibition of work by the prize dogs will be •Kiyen- on! People's Bay.
