The Scouts aro parading in full force, with a special display of the Flag to be sent to France. .Ladies and gentlemen who take afternoon jtea, ice creams or similar refreshments aro asked to note that His Worship the Mayor will officially open the new premises of the Miirhlo Bar, Ltd., in Manners Street on Friday afternoon. Tho entire takings from tho opening to closing timo. at night will bo handed to tho Soldiers' Christmas Gift Fund. A subcommittee from the Citizens' Executive lias been appointed to tako charge of the receipts and control tho crowd ■ which it is expected will bo thoro.
