She will berth at the Queen's Wharf No. 1 south. . ■ WIMMERA LEAVES MELBOURNE. Advice has been received by the local office of Messrs. Huddart, Parker, and Co. stating that the Wimmera left Melbourne for Wellington direct at 1 p.m. on Saturday. She has 35 passengers and 1000 tons of cargo on hoard for here. Port should bo made on Thursday morning next, and departure taken for southern ports and Melbourne on Saturday. TAINUI AT HOBART. Advice received by the Shaw, Savill Co. states that the steamer Tainui arrived at Hobart at 10.30 on Saturday morning. She is expected to reach Auckland on Thursday. THE UUAPEHU'S OFFICERS. . Fine weather featured the voyage of the Ruapchu, which arrived at Auckland on Thursday from London. Captain Clifford is ill command of the vessel, and he has associated with him the following officers:—Messrs. R. 0. Coyte, chief officer; J. S. Bullock, second; A. Williams, third; J. S. Mackay, fourth; V. Swan, second; and P. Ryan, wirclese operator. Mr. F. Leeson, of the Now Zealand Shipping Company's staff, London; is making the round voyage with tho Ruapehu for thu benefit of his health. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP.' Mr. J. Murrich resigned his position os fifth engineer of tho Maori on Friday; Mr. J. S. Sangster, chief officer of the Paloona, left that vessel at Melbourne for orders, and Mr. J. Briscoe, late of the Ooonah. filled the vacancy. Mr. Hodgman, late assistant, purser of the Riverine, is acting as purser of the Wcstralia in place of Mr. Linl.vy who left the ship at Sydney on sick leave. The Ngaherc left Greymonth for Wellington on Saturday, and is due in port at daylight. The C. and D. liner Muritai left for the south on Saturday afternoon. The Mapourika aru-red in port. from the West Coast yesterday morning. She is to go on the slip for cleaning and painting, and in consequence' will not get away until Wednesday, when she goes to Westport direct. The Corinna is due from New Plymouth on Wednesday, and will-proceed, south the same day. ' Tho Warrimoo is due from the Bluff for bunkers to-day. Sho should get away for Auckland either to-night or to-mor-row. A largo steamer passed, the Heads at 2.30 a.m. on Friday, and reported to the signal station that sho was tho Transvaal, bound from Newcastle to Chile. It has been found impossible to dispatch the Wakatu to-day for Kaikoura. as was expected. She is now listed to get away to-morrow.
